Welcome to the Forestdale Neighborhood Garden Project!

The goal of this project is to use a small parcel of city-owned land as an opportunity to create community around the shared act of gardening and neighborhood care. By working together, we can take a small space and make it meaningful for the residents of Forest Street, Goodwin Avenue, and surrounding areas.

Imagine a space where we can learn and grow together.

Right now, there is a small space in our neighborhood that goes unseen. Between several properties, owned by the city, this little strip of land is easily forgotten in our busy day to day routines. Rather than sit empty and collect debris, imagine if we could use this space to support our neighborhood. Let's support local pollinators, healthy cooking, and share our culture and knowledge by using this space to grow herbs, flowers, and other plants that represent us and beautify this overlooked area.
